This coin lay on the bottom of the English Channel for almost 200 years! The ship sank during a storm in 1809, but no trace of the ship was discovered until 1984. The Wreck of the "Admiral Gardner" coin is one of 28,000 pieces found in a sealed barrel of the lost treasure. It is one of the first coins to be minted by the steam-powered coin press. The "10-cash" coin bears the East India Company's classic logo on one side and denomination on the reverse. The coin is protected in an archival capsule and displayed in a box. Includes a story card and a certificate of authenticity.
